Student Services provides advisement, free tutoring, and disability services.
Accommodations
- Students with disabilities who are in need of accommodations should contact Tena Moiola, Director of Student Services, for more information and further advisement.
For the safety and comfort of students, faculty and staff, a security guard patrols the campus in the evenings until 11:00 p.m. To contact the campus security guard, call the phone number posted in every classroom.
Tutors for AutoCAD, architectural drafting, and drawing hold regularly scheduled hours. Click here to see current tutoring hours (opens in Canvas). Contact Tena Moiola to arrange tutoring at another time or in another subject.
The DI Library staff is available during Library hours to help students and faculty find the books, magazines, websites, and other resources they need for academic and professional projects. Research assistance is available in person, over the phone, and by email.
The Librarians are also available to assist students with grammar, proofreading, and citations.
The Library has a computer for student use with access to the internet, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and an 11x17 flatbed scanner, as well as a color printer and copier.
The DI Librarians are available to assist students and faculty use information and media ethically, in compliance with copyright law and the Academic Honesty Policy.
DI Presentation Board Requirements
The front of each board must be labeled with the name of the student(s) and with the year and semester completed
Each board should measure 16 x 20 inches, 20 x 30 inches, or 24 x 36 inches
DI Design Project/Presentation Guidelines and Standards
Provides standards for presentation boards and attire, and defines terms such as design concept, concept statement, design program, and evidence-based design
The DI Catalog contains course descriptions and information about the curriculum and financial aid. It is also your Student Handbook, with policies as well as procedures for grievances and appeals.
