Salary.com shows that bachelor-level formal education correlates with higher median pay than alternatives like self-taught or bootcamp routes.(1) Our Bachelor of Science in Interaction and Experience Design (BS IXD) program offers a comprehensive, interdisciplinary curriculum that prepares students to design engaging, human-centered digital and physical environments and experiences that meet the needs of diverse users. Students explore emerging technologies and methods such as AR/XR, motion design, and AI-powered tools.
How long does it take?
The BS IXD program is a four-year, 120 semester-credit-unit curriculum. The program may be completed in four years by a student attending full time and successfully completing 15 units per semester for eight semesters, Fall and Spring. The program is fully online, accessible to working adults and transfer students. Speak with the admissions department to discuss how you transfer credits may impact program length.
Do I need experience to apply?
No prior design experience is required for the bachelor’s program.
