For this story we followed Angela to Hong Kong to hear the story of a dream client who outlined his goals, and left town for four months with the words, "I don't need to see or approve anything, this is your budget, and I want..."
Says Angela now, "He was obviously thrilled with the end result and immediately hired me to build a house for him on the island of Antigua. This is a dream client - very trusting, minimal input, and just plain lovely to spend time with."

 | | The DI Green Design Challenge
Collaborating with the Emerging Green Builders of the San Diego chapter of the US Green Building Council, DI will be hosting the first annual Green Design Challenge on Saturday, April 24th. This day-long event on DI's campus is designed to illuminate the USGBC's 2010 Natural Talent Design Competition: Design to Build Challenge. It's part of a national competition open to a limited number of students and emerging professionals interested in using their talents to help rebuild New Orleans sustainably and affordably.
The best part? The top four entries will be constructed to determine the winner.
